What colour walls with an emerald green bed?

Managed to get a lovely new bed frame in emerald green velvet. I was thinking of pairing it with navy blue but it looks too ‘opulent’ and busy. I’m also finding it hard to find curtains and rugs that tie the two together unless they are peacock print.

What colour would you paint your walls?

A very soft pink, maybe Setting Plaster, or lighter? A soft light green may also work.

I’d go pale pink too. Gives you scope to add in some pops of bright colour if you want or keep the rest quite neutral and let the bed be the focus.

I’m thinking pink might be the way forward too. I have seen setting plaster with dark green tiles and it looks lovely.

grey is the safe choice I think..

I'd go for a dark green- green smoke possibly? I'd then have brass accents and patterned cushions.
Personally I wouldn't go for pink. Otherwise I'd go for a very dark blue - railings or Hague blue

I was going to do Hague blue but I’m really stuck for accessorising the room.

If you go with the dark blue then purple and gold accessories would be nice.

I accept this isn't a bedroom but this is the type of style- colours/patterns/textures etc

Here's a couple of other options ideas - I accept they are very busy but you can pick a couple of ideas

I’d go for white or an off white. Then as long as the curtains have a little of the green in them, you can have any colour or pattern you like

The golden yellow on the cushions on your photo look lovely with it. Dusky pink would too.
