Bloody ANTS

Part of my lawn is literally ALIVE with ants - these then turn into the flying kind that come at me kamikaze style in July!

What do you recommend? There's no way we can use that part of the lawn - its literally moving and they always seem to come back!

Ants hate mint apparently. If you get ants in the house a few drops of essential oil smeared where the ants are will get rid of them. You could try peppermint essential oil, small amount of vodka ( or hand sanitizer spray) and water in a spray bottle but not sure it’ll work outdoors.
