FFS there’s three baby sparrows under the bath

I knew they were nesting in a hole in the bathroom wall, but we’ve just spotted that they’ve worked their way through to the hole in the floorboards.
they seem loud and vigorous, but I don’t know if they’ve moved too far away from where the parents are coming in to poke food in. I don’t think they were there yesterday.

Oh how awesome 🤩 Enjoy the noise ! I reckon they’ll be fine, but maybe stick a bird box near the entrance next year and seal off the hole !

Hopefully they will leave again whilst they are still small enough.

Then get the blinking hole fixed.

Next year it might be squirrels.

😱squirrels. Tbh I hadn’t even noticed the hole until they were already nesting, I’m planning to block it as soon as they are out. It’s odd, I’ve had those boards up & never noticed a hole to outside, so may need to reinvestigate.
one of them has worked it’s way quite far through, perhaps if I cover the gap they will work they way back towards the light. I’ll see if I can get a picture.
