I need a new vacuum cleaner

I have my best friend Eufy, who does the vast majority of hoovering, but the old upright Dyson has given up the ghost. I need something to very occasionally get into the corners and edges and do the stairs.

What do I need?

I had a shark, but DH killed it. Following with interest!

I love my Sebo X4 Pet. I got an extra long hose for stairs. It's not light or cordless but it is great and picking up, adjusting to different floors and has a boost button for extra power.

This happened to my Dyson last week. My mum has lent me her shark lift away to road test. So far it seems pretty good, suction is very good. It's much easier to do the stairs than the Dyson because you just lift off the front bit and carry it up with you but there seems to be lots of different buttons and ways of arranging the bits which I'm still coming to terms with!

Shark lift away, I love mine the suction is really good and it's lasted longer than any other hoover I've had so far.

I had the “Shark Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Stick Vacuum”. One thing I didn’t like was the attachments. None of them seemed quite right for the job e.g. the soft brush was at the wrong angle, the long nozzle always seemed like it was going to drop off. And the regular floor vacuum attachment was narrow.

I bought a Hetty at the weekend. You can’t beat them. I had one years ago but replaced it for a Miele. It wasn’t as good. I then got a Dyson cordless which was expensive with a rubbish battery life and hardly picked up. Hetty was only £130. It’s amazing. I won’t ever go for an expensive make ever again
