Council tax rebate help !

So for those that get it do you have to have set up a dd just so your LA has your bank details and does it matter if the first dd hasn’t been taken - they literally only need that dd set up just so they have account number ?

Our la have paid those that pay by DD and are sending a voucher to the others at the end of the month.
Check your council website for the schedules.

I set up dd weeks ago but didn’t get mine and have been told it’s because I’m not a dd payer

We've been told the rebate will be processed after the first direct debit for this financial year has been taken.

If you don't pay by dd, they are sorting out a form to go on their website to request the rebate, but that isn't live yet, and when it does go live they are expecting enough demand to stress the servers, and limit other things you might expe t to be able to do.

There are several people still posting g on our local Facebook page Asli g about revates, So not everyone has got theirs yet, even if not a new direct debit payer.
