The overwhelming need to have a baby.

I've been with my husband for nearly 15 years and not really thought about children. Other things have taken priority like buying a home and holidays. We decided to start trying this year, as we both thought it was time.

The last month I've had an overwhelming feeling of wanting to be pregnant, its such an odd feeling!

Its like suddenly everyone else is pregnant or having babies! I've never even noticed before now. My twin sister told me she was pregnant last week and I'm so jealous. Its incredibly weird, I never get jelaous ever!

Now sure what this thread achieves, but I just wanted to write it down 🤣

It's maternal instinct.

I never wanted children. I actually wanted my tubes tied at one point.

I got pregnant unplanned and as soon as I found out I knew it was right.

I am so grateful I had my child because I now know my life would have been empty without her. Even though I have a very full life. I'm a mother and it means the world to me.

This doesn't mean you will feel the same, but I would encourage you to sit down and meditate on your life later on, say when you are 55, and think about where you are, who you are with, and what type of life you want, and whether children are going to be necessary, or a hindrance.
