So at the weekend in a new place and in need of fuel I filled the car up with Shell V premium diesel. Only realised when I got inside and the price was more than I was anticipating.
Usually we go for cheap supermarket diesel. I wasnt familiar with the different pumps and so chose the one that said diesel.
So my question is - what is the point of premium diesel?
Will it make our journeys more pleasant/ enhance our lives in any way?
Its in a Peugeot 1.6 turbo diesel engine which I imagine is used by many many thousands of cars across Europe.
