Is 'Aftersun' a good choice for taking on hols for the whole family?

I've not been abroad for years so not sure what's best to use these days!

I used to take 'aftersun' moisturiser but wondering if that's still a good option and something that both me and ds can use? Or is there a better option?

I don’t use after sun on the kids. There skin has more collagen in it and doesn’t dry out the way adult skin can.

Will you be using sunblock? I've never found I've needed aftersun if I've used sunblock appropriately.

Just use moisturizer

I take Calypso aftersun with insect repellent and that is the only reason I use it. Beyond that, I take Banana Boat Aloe gel which is good if anyone gets burnt (me).

I use aftersun with mossie repellent in it as I am apparently very taste to them.

Any moisturiser is fine, something mild like Child’s Farm or a nice aloe Vera gel
