Teen DD always tired

My teen DD(16) constantly complains about being tired. I'm hesitant to take her to see a doctor however, because, she doesn't go to sleep before midnight (we have to be up at 6:30am), doesn't always eat and drink well, does no exercise, and likes to give herself labels.

I love my DD to bits, but if she won't do any self help as above, what's the point of taking her to the doctor? Should I just start giving her some spatone sachets as she's likely to have low iron anyway? And if that doesn't help, then maybe see a doctor?

Don't bother with spa tone. Proper iron tablets is what she needs. Chelated iron.

Six hours sleep is probably less than half what she needs !! Teenagers sadly fir them are programmed to sleep longer hours than younger children. They are like toddlers their brains are going through huge changes.

Unfortunately modern life and school is totally skewed against them.

Why don't you work on persuading her to be in bed with lights out and some meditation on at aboit 10 and see how that helps

Unfortunately half 6 is just very very early for a teen that must be tough fir her
