Morning all! What's everyone doing today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa, in silence, it's lovely. I'll open the window in a minute though for some fresh air & so I can hear what's going on around me.

I have quite an epic list for today - none of it's overly time consuming but, done at a steady pace, it'll fill the day.

I'm just about to start adding some detail to some peg people while it's quiet. Then I'll get dressed. After that;it's ironing, Asda, cut the egg cups out of egg boxes, finish the peg people, help dd2 with homework.

Both girls wanted to do some more experimenting in the kitchen so we'll squeeze that in somewhere too. & if I get to it, I want to start on a selfie prop for Friday and then to use with my Rainbows and Guides after half term.

So busy & productive, but not too taxing, here.

Roast chicken for tea 😋 accompanied by a glass of wine for me.

At 'Dad's Spot' now. It's so peaceful, the weather is beautiful and lots of cute dogs keep popping over to say hello 😁 (the sheep were en route btw, not in the same field as the dog walkers!)

I could stay here all day tbh but DD and brunch are calling.

Not sure what other tomfoolery lies ahead for the day but 3 teens were up before 10....

Im not feeling well today, possibly covid, just feel all achy and yuk.

Not much on, going back to bed soon.

Been up since 6am reading in bed with a hot chocolate while DC asleep.
Just been up to the shop for some snacks. 🙈

Going to do some housework today and bake a chocolate fudge cake. Do some more cleaning in the garden and then have a chilled afternoon with DC might watch Jurassic world for the millionth time with DS2.

Morning! So far pancakes with mushrooms, cheese and thyme, coffee, sexy time, now wandering over to meet with the guy who is DJing at our wedding to discuss playlists, them have 4 blogs to write this avo. And heading to the Vue to watch Everything Everywhere all at Once this evening. We are also making Vietnamese spring rolls to take with us, as dieting so nachos and cheese sauce are out at the cinema. And it's sunny, yay!

Morning all (afternoon?), I was up until 3am and then woke shortly after 8 - I have a headache and what feels like a hangover even though I didn't even drink.

Today I have lots of housework - load or two of laundry, dusting, kitchen still needs cleaning. I have to prepare for work tomorrow so will do 2-3 hours in the afternoon, perhaps after a nap as currently I'm in no shape. There's sport to follow tonight, some batch cooking for the week, ironing when/if the laundry is dry.

Morning everyone.
DD is up and put playing in the drive with our lovely neighbours DD. DS unfortunately woke up this morning being sick and hasn't been able to keep anything since. Poor little mite tried to clean it up himself (6yo!!!!) and didn't tell me until I'd come downstairs.

So I've stripped his bed and washing everything and his teddies. Just sitting with him with my second cup of tea trying to cool his fever. Looking forward to sitting in the sun for a bit this afternoon.

Ddogs buddy is going home shortly and I'm looking for puppy crates because we might be seeing a new addition to the family next week...... Neither DC know yet.

Had a busy day so far. Took DS to rugby training and ferried DD about.

lots of ironing done. Planning on a chilled evening.

We've been dog-sitting this weekend so took him for a lovely walk along the canal with ds2 this morning then I've been in the garden all day pretty much, weeding and tidying whilst Dh tends a slow bbq'd piece of pulled pork for dinner.
Ds1 surprisingly played a bit of badminton in the garden with me this morning before cracking on with some revision. He's now at his girlfriend's for a bit and ds2 is out, the dog has gone home so it's very peaceful. I'm still weeding, with a beer.

Drank coffee with little ones. Up at 8. Lounged. Had lunch. Hung out with dc and husband. Did some laundry. Hoovered. Coloured with kids. Online shopping with coffee and chocolate now.

Afternoon, @lucysmam! We had quite a busy one today. I was out last night and then nursing a rather poorly head this morning whilst DH went to play golf. He was back by 10, and earned his keep completely by bringing me tea and a bacon sandwich.

At lunch time DD and I went to a local dog show with our new 'puppy' - we've had her just over a year, but obviously covid etc meant that these things weren't happening last year. Both DD and Ddog had a lovely time and it was very sweet.

Now home, DH has finished all the laundry, cleaned and tidied our bedroom and the bathroom and got the roast dinner going! I'm feeling very spoilt today. Early bath and then bed for me this evening: I need to sleep the rest of the gin off so I can get up for the school run in the morning and write an essay for uni!

Dh is on the edge of his seat watching Leeds play.

Dc1 has been to a party and is now eating cake.

Dc2 is out playing with friends somewhere.

I'm in the summerhouse after having spent all morning working.

We've ordered pizza so will be eating and getting ready for tomorrow soon. I hate the Sunday evening blues :(

Well, a productive day here! I've done everything I wanted except something for tomorrow evening - I'm just about to double check whether it'd be better emailed or if I print it myself & take it with me.

I'm really pleased with my peg people again; I'm almost out of paint-able resources though so need to ask for some more to be ordered 🤷‍♀️

Had a bit of a lay in this morning then dropped DD to work and went clothes shopping with DH and DS. Came home and I spent a couple of hours in the garden planting and reseeding some damaged bits of the lawn while DH did some work. Now eating before we pick DD up at 8.

I'm having a disagreement with someone on another forum.

Productive day today.

I was at training this morning for a few hours, then home and got 4 loads of laundry washed and dried. Did some gardening before hayfever killed me and I retreated indoors where we ate pizza and drank wine.

NannyOggsWhiskyStash maybe “sexy time” is TMI but it made me smile! Great username by the way.
