Kids and balls

After weeks of having a football kicked up against the fence by next doors children, I heaved a sigh of relief when the goal net was scrapped. Now instead theres a basketball hoop and a constant thud thud thud while ball is being bounced. Gardens are very small so right up near the back door. Im getting the rage as I type. Why dont parents think about other people, I supposed they are used to tuning noise out.

Are you annoyed by the sound of kids having fun in their garden? Sorry but you are being unreasonable some noise in gardens is to be expected.

It's very annoying.

Doesn't mean I will ask for it to stop, doesn't mean that it's unreasonable for them to be doing it. But absolutely it's annoying.

I live in a development with lots of kids playing out and I think you have to be tolerant. Early starts are not on but kids only have a few months of sun and they are going to be noisy and annoying. Plus side is that they do grow up eventually.

Well the ball crashing against MY fence didnt do it a lot of good.
Im not bothered about them playing or shouting etc, its the constant thud thud thats annoying

Don’t get me started. There’s a family behind me with a netball hoop and it’s the MUM who’s constantly playing with it. The kids ignore it. And no she’s not a pro netball player. Gaaah

(They are a very noisy family generally, if it was just this one thing I’d be more tolerant).
