Disposable swim nappy under happy nappy swimsuit

Taking baby swimming for the first time tomorrow but I’m a bit confused about being able to get her ready before we get to the pool which would obviously make things a lot easier. I read the disposable nappy doesn’t hold wee so not to put it on too early but it will have a happy nappy swimsuit on top so wouldn’t that be okay? I’m probably just overthinking everything because I feel nervous!

No, the disposable and happy nappy are only to contain poo leaks. Don't get her ready before you get there! And yes, this is the moment you realise swimming pools with babies in = swimming in baby wee.

I always take my lo in his swimming stuff- never had a leak so far… disposable nappy and happy nappy are exactly what I use. Maybe I’ve just been lucky! I take him in that and an outer suit, then just slip the outer suit off and he’s ready to go straight in the pool. Hope it goes well

You can get him ready at home and then just slip a pull up on over his swim nappy before putting him in his buggy/car seat. When you get to the pool take the pull up off and if it's still clean you can put it on his bare bumper when you get out of the pool.

Put your own swimwear on under your clothes. Swim nappies only contain poo not pee so I wouldn't put it on in advance

Yeh I always go wearing my own costume when I go alone, just quicker. Will wear flip flops and a dress so it’s fast.
