Twitter flirting - is this a thing?

Been on Twitter for a long time and never used it to flirt or really had anyone catch my attention.

Since a break up during pandemic I dated a guy I met for a few months on Tinder. Broke it off as I didn't see a future. Actually very happy single but feel intrigued by this guy.

So I started following him as I thought he might be able to help with research (I'm.an author). He followed back straight away, likes most of my tweets (including one of the only selfies I've posted) and I've started doing same. Now he's started commenting too and so have I so we have little chats.

He looks like my cup of tea but this isn't tinder so I've only seen a few photos. I don't even know if he's single! Is it a thing to flirt or meet someone on Twitter? Or have I just been single 6 months too long 😁

Yes, it’s very much a thing. Lots of people meet and date on twitter.

Like I said, seen a few pics but that's all. I do get a little belly flip from them which is rare for me. I'm keen to chat more and see if a date date could be on the cards 🙂 just don't know how is engineer it! There have been no direct DMs so far.

Ive seen a few viral tweets from women lately saying a follow isn't a license to DM - please keep it public only. It's a minefield tbh!
