Moved areas this year doing a role I had previously been doing elsewhere. Felt like a fresh start and things have been going well. This week has just been awful and now a black cloud hangs over my weekend ☹️

@TwoCoffeesPlease yep & to make it worse it was like 3 against one with people tag teaming onto others emails adding fuel to the fire. Things like "yeah thanks Jane, and just to add bla bla bla". Felt like telling them all to fuck offfffff.

Training for a new role, however the training group involves lots of people totally new to the company so I'm having to learn things I've done 2 exact same training courses on before, and for things I've been doing every single day for the last 2 years.

At the start of this training, I had a do a day of digital skills, where I was shown how to copy/paste and how to split my screen among other very basic things.

Totally mind numbing and a total waste of time

Sorry to hear this, I have cried at the start of every job I have had ever had if it helps. It always gets better 😘

I usually cry in most new jobs but have started one recently and after almost a month have yet to shed a tear ! Another positive is that coffee and cake seem to be regularly delivered to our desks.

@MissyB1

Ha! You are braver than me! Although I applied for some jobs at school (secretary), I am glad I was never offered one. Even if the kids were ok, the parents...... just no. I had to say what I would do if some examples happened and one was a child missing the coach on an outing and having to deal with the parent. God no.
