Coventry end of term

Anyone with kids in school in Coventry.

I've seen on the council website that schools finish there on the 25th July which is a Monday.

Are most schools doing this? Our school finishes the week before and considering a long weekend in Coventry and would be great if it was still term time.

Yes, Coventry finishes on the Monday but I suspect some schools will be using it as a Training Day. Neighbouring Warwickshire finishes on the previous Thursday. Warwickshire has given schools the Friday as the day in lieu for the Jubilee which is a rubbish day to choose!

Thank you. So it might be quieter than normal holidays on that Friday but still classed as a holiday.
