Electric car parking etiquette?

Loads of electric car points being put in at the council car parks in town, which is already very limited on parking as the main car park is closed for repairs.
I don’t have an electric car.
If there aren’t spaces elsewhere, would you park in an electric charging one? So far no signs saying yes or no.
Its a public pay and display car park for up to 8 hours, if that matters.
No idea how many electric cars there are locally.

As long as you are ok with a big fine. Most car parks will have terms for electric car parking and combustion engine vehicles parking in electric spots is a big no.

If you want to hear cheeky buggers. How about electric cars parking in electric parking spots, plugging in but not charging..... Then there are the people who charge to 100%. An electric car takes about as long to charge from 0-75% as it does to charge from 75-100%. Charging rage is real :-)
