Best products for cleaning car seats

My Ds has just bought his first car and the seats are a bit grubby. Before he starts cleaning them and making them worse or stinky does anyone have any advice on products that would be the best to try? Thanks

Yes, a Vax spot cleaner or similar. Apply plenty of upholstery shampoo, agitate well with a brush and then extract with a spot cleaner then marvel at the colour of the liquid extracted.

Dr beckmanns upholstery cleaner. Comes in a bottle with a brush head attached. You just make a little hole in the lid, tip it up and scrub till it foams. Leave 3 minutes and wipe it down with a damp white cloth.

Wilko car upholstery fabric cleaner. Works on wee soaked kids carseats which is no mean feat.
