London on a Sunday morning

I have a Sunday up until around 3 pm on my own in central London.

I am from Scotland where Sunday is a normal shopping day but I don’t think London is otherwise, I’d be quite happy with a mooch on Oxford Street etc.

can anyone give me any suggestions of things I could do on my own on a Sunday morning or do I ask the hotel for a late check out and get a couple of hours shopping after they open?

Shops open at midday in London on Sunday.

So I'd go for a lovely walk, maybe through the square mile as its deserted at the weekend. Head to Spitalfields for late breakfast and a mooch then central line from Liverpool St into Oxford St and go down regent St and look in liberty's and cos etc

I'm Scottish too, but I spend a lot of time In London for work.

I like a mooch around Covent Garden / Seven Dials, or Little Venice, or if you're early, get out to Whitechapel and wander round the many street markets. A boat cruise to / from Greenwich is fun, too.
