Give me good news about (minor) chemical burns

Firstly, yes, I know I'm an idiot.

I occasionally suffer from pityriasis versicolor across my chest and lower neck and normally treat it with Daktarin cream, but I read something about selenium sulphide shampoo being more effective.

I rubbed some in, intending to go for a shower 20 minutes later, then got caught up in something and six hours later... you can see where this is going.

Anyway, I obviously had a really good shower to rinse it all off, having looked up NHS advice for treating minor chemical burns, but I now have really unsightly redness around the area. It's not painful, but it is a bit itchy (and obviously looks awful).

Is there anything I can do (apart from wear a polo neck) or any creams or lotions I can use to speed up the healing / reduce the redness?

Said shampoo is in the bin now.
