Money for 5 months when maternity runs out, what could I do?

DP will pay for all food/living expenses and bills in the house. I will need to pay the mortgage/council tax and bills on my buy to let as it is having work done that won’t be completed to be able to rent out at this time. I will also need petrol money, any expenses to go out etc.

At the moment I am on track to having at an absolute maximum, 8k saved. Per month I need 750 for mortgage and council tax, 150 for bills (hopefully low as nobody living there but obviously could still be high when workmen are using kitchen etc). This leaves me with around 700 a month spare for car costs/mot/insurance, petrol, going out, baby group, hair, etc. Is this doable? I am wondering what it will really be like everyday with no real plans and how much money you need to be able to get through the days and entertain yourself?
