Thinking of moving to Uxbridge/Hayes/Northolt. How safe is it?

Hi Everyone
I am currently looking to move to West London from NW London (Kensal Green). We were looking to move to a quieter area and I’ve also got a job not too far away. I was thinking about moving to Hayes/Uxbridge/Northolt area of london. What is the area like and is it child friendly? I’ve got a 7yr old and 3yr old.
I appreciate the help

Hi there, I grew up and lived in Northolt/Hayes for around 40 years. We moved away from the area 5 years ago as the area had declined hugely and we did not feel it was the right place to bring up our (then) 5 year old. Some parts or Uxbridge are better but, I would research carefully. If you really do want/need to be in that area for work and can afford it, I would look at Ickenham/Ruislip. Please DM if you want any other info!
