Going to be a tough few days

My DF has been admitted into hospital with an aortic aneurysm. It measures 10cm. Over the next few days they're operating, after surgery he's in ICU for a few days.

I'm absolutely worried sick about him and the surgery and the risks that it entails. Although I know that is better than him walking around like a ticking time bomb.

Sending you virtual flowers and hugs. My Dad had a liver aneurysm last year. We had a couple of nights where it was very touch and go, but they managed to stop the bleed. He is absolutely fine now and he's 83, 84 at the end of the year. Take care.

He's come through surgery and I'm relieved but heartbroken all at once.

I adore my dad and seeing him vulnerable and in pain has almost been too much for me. But he's still here.
