this is a case I thought of often and wondered if no resolution would come.

I remember Shani in the news and wondering at the first decision, that she took her own life. It stuck with me for a long time, how odd a decision it was.

Well done the cold case squad.

exactly @SamphirethePogoingStickerist. Those who commit suicide are regularly known to bind their own hands…

Thank god we now have the technology and scientific knowhow to find more and more of these monsters.
It's wonderful how DNA evidence can now be obtained from crimes committed even before recent advances and can be used to help solve cold cases.

Sadly, both of Shani's parents passed away before seeing justice for their daughter.
