She's doing her silver DofE and is due her period on the same day, and she's only just told me! This wouldn't usually matter, she'd take a paracetamol and get on with it, but the last few months she has been proper sick with it, as in vomiting, pale as a sheet, awful cramps and in bed for a day.

Speak to your gp practice, can't remember how early you have to take it. The practice nurse should be able to prescribe

I don't think you can when it's only 2 days away unfortunately pretty sure youngster to take something from the point of your last period

It's usually Norethisterone that's prescribed but needs to be taken 3 to 4 days before her period is due. Not sure if there's anything else unfortunately but may be worth a call to your GP if you can get through

I think 2 days is leaving it too late to change things. You/she could have a word with the staff running the expedition and talk about options? Is she close with her group?

Bigsighall · 17/05/2022 06:43

I can use Norethisterone on day one and it still stops it so worth a try.

It's been a mission this morning, but I have a box of Norethisterone!!
