Red C section scar 3 months postpartum

I had a C-section 12 weeks ago and the scar is red. It doesn't ooze and it also doesn't hurt when I press on it.

Is it normal that the scar is red?

Try to get hold of some 'scar patches' They are silicone patches that adhere to your skin but are not adhesive. They will reduce the visibility of the scar over time (depends how prominent it is now)

I had a tummy tuck last year (so fairly similar scar) and it's still red after 9 months.

I massage it with Palmers Skin Therapy Oil twice a day, it really helps.

Mine is 21 years old at the end of this month, it took a long time to settle down, but bio oil helped and now I have to actively look for it.
