I need to create a video for a video CV so for an application for a job and want it to be as good as I can get it without spending a fortune.
Does anyone know anything I can use? I have a windows laptop and iPhone/iPad to use.
TIA

Windows Movie Maker is pretty easy to use. Make it look more professional by having good quality sound and picture, using a non-standard Windows font, and keeping all your transitions consistent in style and time.

iMovie on iPhone / iPad is good, easy to use and intuitive

You don't need a fortune to create a good video. However, promising results require a little creativity and patience. On Fastreel, you can find some of the best video joiners. They are free and easy to use. I suggest you choose software for beginners. If you don't understand any feature, don't hesitate to check some Youtube tutorials. I assure you that the employer will appreciate a short video with the primary information about you. Taking into account your needs, gihosoft will be the best choice. However, you can test more options and decide which is the one.

Videoleap is really easy on a phone, or on a computer I use Adobe Premiere Pro (taught myself via google/YouTube)

Hello. I think that if you are considering some kind of video editors for laptop/computer, then one way or another you will have to spend a good amount of money for licensed use of applications. I would suggest that you consider using online services. For example, one of the options, try click site, it might work for you. Everything very much depends on the requirements that you set for the video.

You can use Movavi. It's available on both platforms, Windows and macOS. It's very intuitive and easy to use. It has a lot of great effects + automated transitions, making your editing process easier. Also, I like that it has AI background removal and color correction. Might be useful for you.

See here more about all its features and alternatives to use: https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/free-video-editing-software-for-mac.html.
