Parking at Etihad Stadium

I am going to a concert at the Etihad in a few weeks (Liam Gallagher!). Im work that day so will be driving to Manchester. I’ve been to Manchester hundreds of times but never to the stadium and I am panicking about where to park.

I have tried to look at the park and ride but keep getting an error message on their webpage. Do I have to book in advance and are the trams frequent? Or does anyone have any tips!

Do you mean the park and ride using the tram? The trams are every ten mins or so, and you don’t have to book in advance. I would check the time of the last tram though as they don’t run mega late. You can check 7 days in advance on this page: Trams

Ooo actually I can book direct with Man City, it says on the blue car park, does anyone know where this is in relation to the stadium? I don’t want to be stuck in insane traffic trying to get away as I have worn again the next morning so a very fleeting visit!

I’ve never been to the Ethiad in the evening so always got the tram to the city centre apart from on New Years Day once when we parked at the stadium. It was relatively simple to park but we did get there very early as we had a pre match stadium tour booked too.

there will always be heavy traffic but it’s not too bad.
