Do I ask for the extra week, work remotely, or just come back?

I'm due to go on "holiday" in a few days. I use the quotation marks, because although I'm going on a beach holiday for some of the days, I have a week to sort out lots of other stuff.

In that week I have to:

a) see three different specialists for second opinions (and possible treatment).

b) sort out the sale of a property (or at least have a meeting with my lawyer).

c) try to see my dad in prison (lowest of my priorities).

d) me there for my mother who's having eye surgery. (She's offered to move it, so I might not be there when she has it).

e) sort out some bank stuff.

My boss is great and because she's also an expat, she understands that there's something some unfinished business to do back home. She's said in the past she'd let me work from over there, but my DMs internet connection isn't the best, and I would still need time to go and do all the stuff that needs doing.

It seems to me that it might be most sensible to do as much as I can during that week, come back and then if needed take another couple of weeks later in the summer.

When I originally booked this holiday, I had that week to see my dad, go to the bank, and meet the lawyer, but now with all the medical complications, I have to prioritise what I do.
