Some changes at my work mean I'll be dividing my time inconsistently between two locations for at least a year - my current home which I own, and temporary accommodation. If you live somewhere part time, what gadgets do you have that help you manage things? I've friends and family not too far away but don't want to be too much of a burden on them as they all have very busy lives.
So far I've thought of:
A Ring doorbell so I can monitor who comes to the house and catch anything urgent
A Nest thermostat so that the house is automatically up to temperature whenever I return
Self-watering tools for the houseplants (they are low maintenance varieties)
Hit me with your suggestions and tried and tested recommendations please!
