I have had mild diarrhea for the past 3 weeks. I was going upto 3 times a day. No other symptoms. The doctor did a few test includinv H pylori and it came back positive. The diarrhea has gotten better since i had the test. I have spoken to two doctors since then. One said that i dont need any treatment since diarrhea is not a symptom of H Pylori and haalf the world is positive and that i may have had enteritis which has now gone. The other doctor gave me antibotics (2 different ones - a course of 14 days). If someone tests positive for H pylori then do they necessarily have to take antibiotics if they only have diarrhea for a few days and no other symptoms?

You could end up with a really painful ulcer. DF suffered a lot.
I’d take the antibiotics personally.

I had suspected HPilory. No diarrhoea but horrible pain under my ribs. Doctor prescribed triple therapy which worked for me

My son had an asymptomatic ulcer caused by Hpylori. Didn’t know he had it until it perforated. Serious pain and emergency surgery.
Take the antibiotics and get retested afterwards to make sure it’s gone
