Mandalorian and Marvel are too young for a 6 year old...

So why are M&Co selling pyjamas aged 1-6 with these designs? My almost eight year old - who has just started getting into both - would have loved them. Bit of a miss with their target market there!

Some of the episodes of the Mandalorian are rated 12, but there are a variety of cartoon versions of Star Wars some of which have Mandalorians in which are all aimed younger.

I would say not for 1-6 years so do agree they've got the age range wrong. But then I keep having to buy adult clothes and shoes for a 10 year old so I have pretty low expectations of kids clothes anyway....

Kids aren't actually set sizes by age, there will be older kids still wearing those clothes sizes.

Both Star Wars and Marvel have a variety of outputs targeted at different ages some of which are more suited to younger kids.

And (the big one I think) the branding isn't targeting the kids, it's targeting adult fans of the series who are parents and enjoy dressing their kid that way, especially while the kid is still young enough not to have a strong preference about being dressed as per the parents' likes.

My son is 4 and lives marvel, he likes spidey and his friends on disney+ and the marvel lego episodes on Netflix. Think he fits in that age range, so no I don't think they've missed the mark.
