Getting into bed early is the best part of the day

Seriously, I absolutely love getting into bed at the end of the day, it's the best feeling ever.

I'm not a particularly depressed or unhappy person, probably no more so than the average person. I just absolutely love getting into my comfy bed.

Anyone else? If I get invited to anything that goes on too late in the evening I think oh no, my lovely comfy bed!

Maybe it's just age, and it's the part of the day my knackered bones and back muscles can finally rest.

Anyone else love their bed more than anywhere else?

Every time one of my kids complains about having to go to bed I say do they not realise that bed time is the best part of the day

Does anyone wake up in the morning and think ‘I can’t wait to get back into bed tonight?’ 🤣

I’m 35 and found myself then other day saying at 2pm ‘I cant wait to snuggle up in bed’ - Its a comment I say far too often

Yep. I love it. I came to bed tonight at 9pm with a cup of tea and my kindle. I love getting into bed early...! Don't know if it's an age thing like you say .. I'm mid 30's.

Yes, love it. Best part is the back tickles and hair strokes from the husband.

Kite22 · 13/05/2022 23:56

Opposite for me.
Lying in, in the morning is the height of loveliness.
I wouldn't miss out on evenings to be in bed.

I love going to bed, peace and quiet and being on my own (although I only live with DP and we are quite old; it's hardly Party Central at any time). However, I sleep badly and every time I wake up, I wish the night was over and I could get up!

Oh yes, this is me too! Getting into bed in the evening is the only time I can get any peace and not have to talk to anyone in the whole day. I usually go up around 8pm, tidy the room, potter around etc, in bed for 8.30 usually with my kindle. Often asleep by 9 or 9.30! I absolutely love it.
I am always up by 6am though, even at wekends and find it impossible to sleep in becuase the second I come to my brain jumps into action and I just have to get up. But I also love this at the weekends because I get a couple of hours peace in the mornings too as DH and teen DC get up much later - so win, win!

Same.
Bed, tea, book what more does a woman need?

Agree, and even better after travelling. My bed is my place of peace and comfort.
