How do you explain you've put your back out doing the twist in your kitchen?

I might have had wine. I just thought I'd see if I could still do it. It's been a long time. The first attempt went very well. The second attempt was over confident...

No idea lol but I once had to go into work with two broken fingers
when asked how the hell id done it,I had to say ‘I sat on them’
it was true-I had
and it’s testament to the fact I’m THAT clumsy-they believed me

I did a cartwheel in the garden and had to go to the doctors. It was bad. I did not mention the wine that might have been involved.

Like you did last summer op?

notprincehamlet · 13/05/2022 22:26

No explanation needed op, no explanation needed

SheAndHerAreWomen · 13/05/2022 22:27

Absolutely no explanation required. I regularly do the splits and stand on my head when no wine is involved Grin

I put my back out putting knickers on once. I was over confident and was in a standing position. Got one leg in, lifted the second leg, lost my balance, twisted, and pulled something in my back.

Thinking about it now, I probably should have told my boss I’d hurt my back doing the twist in the kitchen 😊

With age comes wisdom so now when mixing a martini I suspect may lead to handstands I swap out a couple of the olives for cod liver oil capsules
