does anyone have any medical experience of ICU? I have a parent currently there and would be really helpful to ask questions. The nurses are great but more info would be amazing.

I have spoken to drs but they can’t give me any real answers, as everyone is different. Which I understand but surely there’s some normals?

parent was taken off sedation on Thursday night, and then off ventilation on Friday morning. She is still unable to communicate with us and obeying commands really sketchy. High heart rate. I just wish I knew If this was normal. But they all keep telling me there is no normal.
