Lovely to see the Queen out and about today at the Windsor horse show,
Its sky news news.sky.com/story/queen-pictured-at-windsor-horse-show-days-after-missing-opening-of-parliament-12611955
I noticed she has a bruise on her hand. i wonder if she had a fall?

More likely a bruise from an iv on the back of the hand? (My dad currently has an identical bruise from an iv line) But then older people do tend to bruise more easily as their skin is so fragile. Nice to see her out though. :)

Yes it was lovely to see her - she has the most beautiful smile which lights up her face.

I guess she made a special effort as her granddaughter Lady Louise was driving the trap drawn by the Fell ponies (the trap/carriage was owned by the late Prince Philip). I understand that Her Majesty had 14 ponies and horses entered for various categories at the show - and one won first place, with the Queen being presented with a cup! :)

I wondered if the bruise was from an iv drip

I agree it was lovely to see her and she looked happy and relaxed. I must admit I did think "FGS get a wheelchair woman" - then she could be (hopefully!) getting out a lot more...

Ah that's lovely, she looks to be having a nice time. Very old people do tend to have hands like that.

Strawberryfieldsfornever · 13/05/2022 19:36

I like her. Will be sad when she dies

scrivette · 13/05/2022 19:37

They were lovely photos of her smiling, it makes me smile to see her smile.

I was also wondering why she doesn't use a wheelchair.

When I saw the thread title I wondered if you'd bumped into her in Asda 😂

But yes good to see her doing something she clearly enjoys.
