Does anyone have tips for making a bed where the mattress sits in the frame?

It's hard work isn't it, especially on a super king size where one side is against a wall.

How the jeff are you supposed to change the sheets?

I make DH do it. (Sorry not helpful)

I usually slide the mattress off to the side slightly.

Ours is a Super King size and it is a bit weighty. My OH can't manage it on her own.

Sit at the far corner facing the corner but not too close. Pull the corner of the mattress back with your bodyweight and hook your leg under the mattress. It's easier to take the sheet off all corners first and if you're quick you can use the last corner to help you pull the mattress up. Lean forwards and put the new sheet over the corner. Yoga done for the day.

Pull the mattress a few inches up and out til it's hanging slightly over the bed frame. Climb on the bed. Do the wall side first. Then climb off, do the open side of the mattress. Push the mattress back.

I lift the mattress, then stick my leg in - foot on the slats, mattress resting on my knee. But that wouldn't help with the side against the wall....
