Anyone else - lots of things gone wrong this morning (lighthearted I think!)

Rubbish morning here. Anyone else?

Have had a bad back all week, better this morning so didn't take any painkillers and you can guess, I'm in pain again.

Went to dentist to find I'd somehow got the wrong time written down, so I was literally five mins late. Next person had gone in and they couldn't fit me in after them.

Power cut in shopping arcade when I was in toilet. Dark walls and doors, Emergency lighting over sinks but with dark walls and high doors, I struggled to find toilet paper and flush.

Went for coffee, to find my cutlery was dirty. A massive queue, so I couldn't face going around the system to get them changed.

Bought shower gel and body butter. Body lotion was listed as £3.50, so I was expecting to pay around £4.50 for body butter. Got home and realised it had cost me £8.

Popped into garden centre to get a present, which they've stocked for years. Still have the range, but not present I wanted.

Off to work now, so hope I'm not a walking disaster area there as well.

This is why Friday 13th should be a national holiday 😀

We got a new TV on Saturday, the old one was 14 years old and just... faded away. DH went to Currys in one town, got pretty much the only TV they had in stock. Brought it home, put it all together and turned it on. Top left corner looked like it had been smashed in, pixilated and just purples.

He took it back to another store as they had an exact replacement. They checked and said it looked like the TV had had a direct hit with something. Fab. Brought it home and... it was missing 4 screws. Had to return next day, they offered to replace the TV in 10 days, he suggested they took the screws out the broken TV we had returned.

It's only a TV but it took 4 hours out of our lives on Saturday. Minor inconveniences are the bane of my life.

I forgot it was Friday 13th!

No way would I have gone to town, so feel like I've wasted my morning, especially as DH met a mutual friend for coffee this morning and I could have joined them.

That's a lot of hassle over a tv, and not a cheap item that can be overlooked if it's not right!
