Work- love colleagues, hate the job! Stay or go?!

My job is very stressful and I dread going in every day to open emails, knowing that the demands that will be stressful and never ending. I am not management level, mid- level in my organisation, so my pay is ok but not amazing.
My colleagues, however, are fab and we have a great laugh during breaks and go out at weekends because we want to, rather than forced fun!
Would you put up with a decent job you hate, because of colleagues, or leave to find a job you enjoy?
With the best will in the world, I don't think we would stay in touch if I left, as we are all at different stages in life and probably only have work in common!
I am torn! I am 48!

For me I would be looking at 1-2 years in the future. Do you want to progress? Do you want to progress there? Is that possible?

if you are going to be doing the same job you don’t like in a few years time, I would leave. If the job is just for now and won’t be the same or you won’t be in it m, sometime soon, I would stay

But that also depends on how much it’s impacted you.

Absolutely not. Work is too significant a part of your life to dread it, and lovely colleagues are not a compensation.

You say iou probably won't stay in touch; maybe you will? Or you can find new lovely colleagues!

Think about what would make you happy in work & take steps to get there.

If you see your colleagues socially anyway, leave and find a job you like!
