Hi there! So I've got a son who is 24 next month and although he is very career driven, hard working and ambitious but He doesn't have a social life. He works full time and studies full time then on the odd day off he usually spends time at the gym or at home. He is also very obsessed with his looks and is constantly using skincare products, He would buy expensive clothes and he also pays for cosmetic treatents like chemical peels.
He said to me that the reason why he doesn't date is because he wants to be the best version of himself which is great, He also told me that he'll start having fun and enjoying life once he has money but I just feel like he is doing it wrong.
Yeah being focused on your career and saving money is great but he doesn't need to put his social or dating life on hold in my opinion.
