Anyone ovulated after cd30 and still conceived?

I’m trying to figure out why my cycle is so long. 2 years since I came off the pill and it still isn’t regular. I had been on the pill for years. I’m only 25 so my egg quality should be ok.

Has anyone ovulated cd30+ and still had a healthy pregnancy? I’m worried that late ovulation means that my eggs aren’t good quality. I ovulated cd34 and currently 3 or 4dpo.

21 weeks pregnant and ovulated cd37. It doesn't matter when you ovulate in your cycle, the phase after ovulation is more important. Good luck 🤞🏻

I'm 34

Yep, first pregnancy cd32, healthy pregnancy. This one I had a period in September and conceived the middle of December 🙈 too lazy to work out what cd that may have been!

And I was 28 and 31. Just have really long cycles for some unknown reason

@Hallibob @YouBoggleMyMind thank you - that’s so reassuring! Did you ever figure out why you have long cycles/ovulated late? My internal ultrasound didn’t show I had PCOS or any abnormalities. My thyroid is normal.

I have PCOS and don't ovulate (although apparently after a failed embryo transfer I randomly do!!)

You can still have PCOS without polycystic looking ovaries. It's hormone ratio that plays a large in whether ovulation takes place or not.

I had a fertility scan which found nothing abnormal, they've just always been irregular for as long as I remember.

@YouBoggleMyMind interesting. GP straightaway said that I wouldn’t have PCOS because the scan didn’t show cysts. It probably is my hormone ratio! @Hallibob it’s so frustrating isn’t it??
