What's your teen's current ambition/s in life?

Currently my nearly 14-year-old's ambition is to be an music therapist by day, drag king by night and live on a houseboat with a cat. That's a pretty specific one, I'll give them that. 😊

That does sound like a pretty cool life, to be honest.

Yeah @astoundedgoat - have warned them what winter is like on a boat given what I've heard from boater friends, tho! 😨

She's not quite a teen yet (11) but youngest DD wants to work in forensics! And also be in a band and travel the world as a lead guitarist. She plans to live in L.A when she's 18 and share an apartment with her best friend who aspires to be a waitress and a pole dancer!!!!

Oldest was briefly into the idea of forensics. Late in primary they were well into medicine for quite a while and definitely up for studying it but have decided they don't like sciences enough to do a levels in any.

Trouble is I think that status-obsessed MIL is now convinced oldest is going to be a medic and will go on and on at us that we have to convince them back into it once she gets wind of the change of heart!

My nearly 11yo wants to be a zoologist. Or a vet.

It would not surprise me if it involves snakes. She adores them.

To code computer games and invent something tech-y like the next iphone.To make lots of money and have a big house with a pool.
