Hey folks!
So in previous years i have either made a half-arsed attempt at New Years resolutions or just never bothered! (mostly i never bothered!).
This year however i had a few goals in mind that i really wanted to make an effort with, so i made them my resolutions.
Here we are in May, 5 months in and...
I'm curious to know how you all are getting on (if you made any!)
Did you make any resolutions?
What were they?
Have you been able to stick with it?
Mine were:
- Improve my night time routine (i am a night owl and terrible for staying up far too late!) - I still stay up way too late but am better on work nights and cutting down on my late nights.
- Cut down on fizzy drinks - Managed to go from a tin of coke every night to maybe 1 or 2 a week.
- Read more - I've read 2 normal sized books and 3 short story reads, getting a bit more into reading now.
- Drink more water - I've definitely managed this better than i thought i would, now carry a water bottle everywhere!
- Progress with inline skating (I started rollerblading in December as i needed a hobby to keep me fit) - Have now joined a skating club and have a new found passion which has massively helped my mental health!
- Cut down on the sweets/chocolate biscuits - Ahem...yeah still working on that one! lol
