Has Facebook marketplace gone naff now?

I really want a new second hand sofa. Fab used to be the place to go for genuine local people selling their tat.

Now it is all cheapo company's selling sofas that come from cheapo sofa stores and I don't want "genuine luxery sofa"

Any recommendations where else to look or what the secret is?

Yep, same here. Looking for a corner sofa, want a second hand because of dogs. Can't find anything, it's all "new" tat advertised at £75 with a "contact for more info and prices". Velour junk mostly.

Gumtree is better IMO.

Yes, there is a lot of the velour tat but I find there are still genuinely sellers too.

I use both FB and Gumtree

Yeah, same where I am on marketplace. However joining local selling groups on Facebook works really well for me.
