Sherri Papini has admitted she staged her own kidnapping

I was intrigued by this in 2016? Does anyone else remember it. Stupidly I actually thought she was kidnapped. Apparently not! Husband now divorcing her unsurprisingly.
How did I miss this until today!

I’ve seen her story come up on those true crime reports things lots of times, and after hearing the state she was found in thought there was no way she could be faking - despite the slightly odd story that went with it. She was clearly dedicated!

I do. There was something very suss about it from the start, but I couldn't figure out what, as no ransom was requested. Guess now we know: she's Gone Girl

I go k she's done some wacky stuff before.

She did it just so she could spend some time with another man. Perhaps she was planning on not goi g back but it didn't work out.

OMG, I followed all the news stories at the time, that is just crazy !! There did seem to be lots of holes in her story, but would never have guessed she made it up, I thought she might have been covering up for someone. Wonder about the ex boyfriend who she stayed with, something odd there too that he kept quiet for so long.
