Tell me about your arsehole neighbours

We live next door to the loudest most inconsiderate family of arseholes going. We've had a series of issues which has ultimately lead to the involvement of the police. Now every time I see one of them or hear them (terraced house and they've all seemingly got a bell in every tooth) it ignites a rage in me so great I literally daydream about doing them harm (obviously I wouldn't).

Talk to me about your shitty neighbours. Tell me i'm not alone 😫

My arsehole neighbour couldn't be arsed to spend time properly toilet training her massive fucking dog which I've never ever seen her take out/walk either so she just lets it sit in the garden all day. Fine. Except every time my little dog goes out for a pee she gets the shit scared out of her by next door's vile thing barking at her, so that she now has anxiety issues about going out and we have to take her out on a lead almost every time. She was absolutely fine before next door got her dog.

A family over the back has two small children who scream very loudly in the back garden every day. Between the hours of 7-8am. They literally aren't out there any other time - WTAF? I haven't had a lie in all summer because those brats wake me, and it's too hot to shut the window or I wouldn't get any sleep all night either.

Some over/just down the road have recently been done for dealing coke. The house is an eyesore, the dealers are really vile humans, and we live in a 'naice' area, so I resent them existing somewhere I pay over the odds to live tbh.

I've lived in my house and one particular next door has always had difficult neighbours. We've thankfully got rid of the fish wife next door always screeching at her OH, only for the latest ones to start up next week

New neighbours next door seem to think the pavement is their personal drive

1 works away for 3 mths. Leaves car on street without moving it just sits.

Previous arsehole neighbours finally moved out after years of aggro, new neighbours move in and they seemed ok. It didn't last long.
She banged on my door one morning all flustered, saying her car had been broken into, and why didn't we call the police? I asked her what time it happened because we didn't hear their car alarm go off.

They don't have a car alarm. The thief didn't break a window to get into the car, the car was left unlocked. Its all my fault somehow and they blank us now.

Mine has thankfully moved out now but was hellish. He lived in a flat downstairs from us and decided to start using it as an outlet for various party drugs and a venue for chemsex parties. For years we were woken at all hours of the night by his customers ringing the wrong buzzer from the door (we couldn’t turn these off, even leaving the entry phone off the hook didn’t work) or calling through from the gates for entry. Even if this didn’t wake us up the constant running of the lift would keep us up all night.

We also had the early morning police raids, people overdosing and needing medical assistance in the grounds, random shouting from disgruntled punters, break ins on the ground floor from his customers and much more.

He’s just sold up and since he’s gone the rest of the flats are seeing mice inside their homes so it seems his parting gift was to leave a flat full of mice for the rest of us.

I pity his new neighbours.

I had the neighbours from hell living in the flat under mine for 11 years (2002- 2013). They would be smoking cannabis from early morning, all day every day,to the point where I could not have my kitchen window or balcony door open in the summer because of the stench.
He installed his moped on their balcony to do maintenance on it,and would rev the engine constantly so I'd be getting petrol fumes wafting in the window. He also rigged up a massive punch bag on their balcony, attaching it to the 'roof' of their balcony, which was the underside of mine. He'd be out there punching it for a couple of hours, during which the reverberations could be felt in my kitchen.
They used the flat shop roof which was level with their balcony as an extension to their flat, even holding parties out there in the summer. I had to put blinds up at my balcony door and kitchen window to stop people looking in.
When they first moved in,they had a baby aged about a month old,and if it woke up in the night,I could hear her screaming at it to 'shut the fuck up'. 2.5 years later they had another baby and the same thing happened with that one.
They would frequently have barbecues on their balcony/the shop roof in the summer,so again I could not have the windows on that side of the flat open because of the smoke.

DIY would be carried out on a frequent basis, usually starting at 7am and often continuing until midnight. This would be accompanied by rap/drill music played at top volume. But heaven help us if WE made the slightest bit of noise. I accidentally dropped a heavy book on my bedroom floor one night at around midnight, and she came storming upstairs, screaming at me about disturbing her kids! These kids, then aged 2 and 4,were frequently up until gone 11 at night.
They never seemed to go away on holiday,or even go out for more than a couple of hours so we rarely got any respite. They seemed to prefer having their numerous unpleasant friends around to theirs, making as much noise as possible.
In mid 2013,I was told by my lovely neighbour opposite me (who was on speaking terms with them) that they were moving out in a few weeks. The day they packed up and moved out was indeed a happy one for me. My new neighbours were lovely, I barely heard a sound from them.

SickOfEm · 23/04/2024 22:51

We've had to put up with the worst family in West Yorkshire for 15 years. Drugs, tresspass, dog let loose to attack our cats and the neighbours cats, kids doing drugs, d1ck father threatening me, my family and other neighbours, son thinks he's hard and likes to intimidate like his chunky junky stepdad, mother laughs like Mrs Brown and lies to the other neighbours about us and others they've had run-ins with and slags off those they think are on their side. We've had motorcyclists wearing ski masks ride around our property on more than one occasion. The police, council, community trigger are as much use as a turd in your bath. The laws and authorities in this country are so backwards its not surprising these d1cks carry on the way they do, if we did anything then they'd be straight round. Anyway f00k em, gonna block off all their routes in and out so no more d1cking with us d1cks

Doihavetogotoworkdotcom1 · 05/05/2024 21:55

Our neighbour gets home at 2:30am. Revs, revs his car to wake us up and puts his music on loud.

HaGGerTON190 · 01/02/2025 19:09

You are not alone. There are many people out there who are being harassed and intimidated by their neighbours and it does not matter if you report to the landlord the police or the council, no one does anything about it. I know, cos I have asked for help numerous times

henlake7 · 01/02/2025 19:43

One of mine is a total git too.
Had police out repeatedly. The other side actually got a restraining order when he threatened to stab the husband (meanwhile he constantly obsessed over the poor wife).
He was also done for trespass and theft from another neighbour.
Sells drugs from his house and has vandalized my garden, thrown his own shit into the garden and peed through next doors fence and shot air gun pellets out his window.
I once reported him for having a hand gun (which I saw on my security camera) but police are also twats and didn't show until the following day so even the sniffer dogs couldn't find anything.
Now I just don't bother using my back garden at all, it's basically a jungle at this point!

TigerRag · 01/02/2025 19:47

I have one that lets his dig (he's my upstairs neighbour) shit outside my back door and another who plays loud music at 4am

Tanios · 07/02/2025 19:30

My neighbours are a pair of chronic drug addicts with 4 dogs in a 1 bedroom upstairs flat, they have taken to listening to audio of people coughing for several hours, party hard through the night and have resulted in ceiling damage in every room from disposing of their garbage beneath their floorboards including dog feces. To make matters worse beyond this level of noise and filth there have been several suggestive remarks loudly slurred while high/drunk indicating they may be ‘intimate’ with the dogs. Trying to move ASAP to get away from the filth after they turned the shared front garden into a landfill (image shows the average weekly garbage they generate). It used to be a quiet pleasant street but been stuck living with this trash and trashy neighbours for 30 months and counting trying to move.

I don't think I've ever seen the police so much since I moved here. 2 of my neighbours clearly have issues. One apparently does drugs and has apparently given them to my other neighbours dog

I've been here since July. I've had enough

Schenker123456 · 30/04/2025 21:55

Your not alone mine next door and next door but 1 are the meanest bullies I've ever met and guess what they are nurses. They bullied my partner who was coping with cancer at the time.
