I have been offered a telephone consultation with a HMC. It didn't occur to me to ask my GP practice who these people are, where they work, their qualifications and so on. Silly me. Has anyone had any relevant experience ? Thankyou.

I've emailed the practice and asked. Probably a clinical psychologist or similar.

What makes you think it's a clinical psychologist? What is your presenting issue?

I've never heard of a Healthy Mind Clinical before but I'd imagine if you were seeing a Clinical Psychologist they'd tell you that. Healthy Mind Clinican puts me in mind of something like a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner which is someone who delivers low level mental health support rather than someone with a clinical doctorate.

Thanks twisting. I'm simply speculating just now.

If it helps I'm in Buckinghamshire and our IAPT service is called Healthy Minds. IAPT services provide talking therapy, usually low intensity for issues like anxiety and depression.
