Who has my package?

I ordered something last Thursday from a company I have successfully used before. I had the usual dispatch email and a Royal Mail tracking reference.

Item was sent next day guarantee by 1pm delivery.

No item and the tracking ref just says the sender has let us know to expect your item.

Contacted the seller yesterday and they apologised that the item is missing in the post and offer to send out a replacement. Again I receive a dispatch email with a next day guaranteed 1pm delivery tracking ref.

I have been tracking the item and it had never been updated beyond the seller had told us to expect your item.

Still no parcel received.

Now the company are not responding to their online chat requests and the Royal Mail website is temporarily unavailable.

So where are my parcels, had the sender not sent them, has the postman nicked them, why is no one contactable!

Obviously no one actually knows, I am just ranting and speculating.

Maybe with our Hermes/Evri parcel.

They kindly sent as a photograph to show it outside our house. Its not our house...

Company has send another. I haven't got high hopes. Hermes don't appear to know where our street is.

This is Royal Mail who deliver to me successfully on a regular basis but sadly not on this occasion.

To me this sounds like the seller created a shipping label but never actually posted the item.The Royal Mail website seems to work fine for me, can you try tracking the items again?

Thanks I have tried checking again and they are still on "Sender is preparing the item" so I agree it seems the shipping note thing is being raised but the item not actually being sent.

The company in question want me to wait another day but it's a signed for item and that means working from home again if my boss will allow me.

Still no update on Royal Mail and the sender is saying wait another day.

They have confirmed internally that the item was dispatched.

My bet is someone is nicking them as they have a good resale value at the moment!
