Gaby roslin was a complete bitch to me as a teenager

I met Ian Wright in a gym once and he was delightful

I’ve obviously led a sheltered life as I haven’t encountered many unpleasant celebrities but I met Great Uncle Bulgaria once in a department store when I was about 6 and he trod on my foot. He didn’t apologise, the big hairy-hoofed git.

I’ve enjoyed reading about other peoples encounters though, good or bad.

Haven’t met any unpleasant ones.

Johnny Depp very kind, funny and highly intelligent. Very approachable and low key in real life.

Helena Bonham-Carter, quick witted, funny and clever.

Prince Charles, seemed genuinely interested in talking to the people he had come to visit.

Ian Wright and his partner used to go to the same gym as me and DH years ago. He seemed ok but his partner on the other hand, well. Always on her phone on when she was on the treadmill yakking about Ian's personal experiences and packed diary and spreading her designer bags, flip flops and stuff around the changing room.

I trod on Phil Lynott's foot at an Ultravox concert once. I nearly had heart failure but he was charm itself.

*experiences? I meant appearances!

Not to self, do not try to type comment whilst eating lunch at the same time...

DH has met a few celebs through sport; in his opinion:

Rudest: Lenny Henry, Michael Vaughan and sorry but also Shane Warne.

Most pleasant: Ben Miller, Adil Ray, Toby Jones, Nicky Chapman, Sir Trevor McDonald, John Major and Ainsley Harriott.

I've managed to meet Martin Kemp, Gary Kemp and Roman Kemp on separate occasions and all are lovely; Martin seemed very shy. Recently met Michael McIntyre driving out of a theatre car park at the end of his performance; very happy to wind down his window and have photos with fans; lovely man.
