It does seem absurd that the mayor of a city would have a trip to another country payed for taxpayers. Seriously wtf?

Seriously though, is it really appropriate at a time of economic crisis? He vaguely mentioned that he would be encouraging American tourists back to London but it doesn't really work like that. The only tourism it is promoting is helping him to tick things off his own bucket list!

He's a politician. I guess it's part of his job to promote London to increase revenue to help cushion the economic crisis. If he gets a nice holiday as part of it, well, who of us wouldn't? Maybe he'll pick up a few tips to how to stop Londoners keep stabbing each other to death. First tip being, get as many freebies abroad as possible. 😂
