What do I do about this? They've been there a long time and getting more rather than disappearing

It is really horrible and upsetting for kids. Mine used to pull their jumpers down to cover them.

I took them to the doctors but same advice - they would disappear one day on their own. It did take a few years but they seemingly vanished overnight.

Completely understand why you would get them frozen off though. I do believe it’s a bit painful? That was also my doctor’s argument.

I also brought my children warts ( then released them into the air)
They went

Another trick was ti run with raw steak i think and bury in the garden- the meat that is.

DS had the dual joy of multiple warts and verrucas simultaneously. Nothing would shift the buggers.

Then, one day...they just started to go away of their own accord. I think he had them for about 3 years.

I had warts on my fingers, feet and my knee (!) for about five years and tried everything. One day, I woke up and every single one had vanished overnight. I'm still 😱 about it!

Just remember I had one on my knee.
Started after some bad insect bites so took an age ti figure out what it was.
Used some freezing stuff from the chemist
It scabbed over for a bit / then it was gone
Sons verrucas (big one) just fell out one day. Left a hole in his foot which soon healed. We never found it Blush

* rub with raw steak and bury the steak in the garden.

My daughter had this - we used Thuja homeopathic Tablets and they cleared up quickly.

Im not normally one to go down the homeopathic route but was amazed at the result.

You can get the Tablets in Holland and Barret.

I feel your pain. I had these on one hand that continued from childhood into adulthood. Started off on my index finger and eventually spread to all the other fingers on my hand. Then I read about the immune system and vitamin c on the internet. So I started eating easy peelers everyday until one day I happened to notice they were gone (apart from 1 persistent wart that will just not go). So I swear by Vitamin c. My 7 year old daughter suffers with molluscum contagiosum (don't know if that could be connected to me suffering with warts), but we put her on a dose of vitamin c tablets and after 3/4 weeks, these had almost cleared up and were much much better. Good luck.

@Discovereads I am speaking from experience regardless of the study. We had tried years (yes years) of salicylic and plasters etc.

Previous poster said clear nail varnish and it just reminded me that it was the clear varnish and duct tape that got rid of them. My son walked with a limp his veruccas were that bad.

My older daughter had very persistent verrucas. Tried lots of treatments but nothing worked. Doctor recommended duct tape and they fell off within a couple of weeks!
